Skyforge Colony

Skyforge Colony drops you on a drifting platform and asks you to grow a self-sufficient city in the clouds. The twist is that everything has to be flown in or produced on-site, so your layout becomes a logistics puzzle before it becomes a pretty skyline.

The balancing act between production, power, and resident happiness is where it shines. Pack things too tightly and morale drops; spread them out and your supply lines strangle you. I rebuilt my main platform three times before it clicked, and that was the fun part.

It runs well and saves often, which matters for a game you dip into across days. The late-game can get fiddly, but the core sim is genuinely absorbing.
